Green Valley Makes a Mark in 2026
It is hard to believe that 2026 is already half over. Before we look ahead, we want to pause and say something simple: 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐬.
From January through June, the people of Green Valley Auctions & Moving showed up — day after day — and put in the kind of work that doesn't always make the highlight reel.
They went to 150 different homes for 𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩𝐬 (that's loading & unloading trailers/trucks each time). They cataloged, photographed, and described nearly 𝟒𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬. They set up, organized, and sold 𝟓𝟖 𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. They handled 𝟏𝟒,𝟓𝟎𝟓 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 which includes interacting that many times with customers picking up treasures. They processed 𝟒𝟐𝟖 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 and made sure every one of them got paid. They answered 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟕,𝟑𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 and responded to nearly 𝟒,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 — because when a client reaches out, someone here picks up.
They also 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟎𝟐 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 — 85 within Virginia and 17 across state lines — covering 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 combined. They ran 𝟐𝟓+ 𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬 and 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝟑𝟗𝟎+ 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬. They planted and watered and pulled weeds and spread mulch, because the details matter. They helped coordinate 7 charity auctions and were part of giving more than $24,000 to over 20 nonprofits.
They 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝟒𝟐𝟗 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬 to 33 employees. They processed 𝟑𝟎𝟎+ 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬. They 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝟓𝟓𝟒 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 (many of those monthly). And in the middle of all of it, they celebrated 𝟏𝟗 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 together.
This is what a family business looks like from the inside. Hard work, deep care, and a team that treats every client's home, every item, every move as if it were their own.
To our 𝐆𝐕𝐀𝐌 𝐆𝐮𝐲𝐬 & 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐬: thank you. We see you, and we are grateful for every single one of you.
If you've worked with us this year, we'd love to hear from you in the comments. This team deserves to know the difference they've made.
